Nantong COSCO Ship Steel Structure Co., LTD (NCSC, established on March 5, 1993) is a member of COSCO Group and a big joint venture specialized in designing and manufacturing heavy steel structure.

The total investment is around RMB300 million and registered capital USD19.22 million. NCSC is located at the down reach of Yangtze River. Company advantages as follows: 2,240 meters of gold coastal line, 340,000 m2 of land, 25,000 DWT of multifunction quay, convenient transportation and exceptional geographic advantages. NCSC has excellent employees of which are many experienced engineers and management staff.

The main products of NCSC are hatch covers, big cranes, port machinery and other heavy steel structures.

In 1998, NCSC started its cooperation with MacGREGOR (FIN) Oy, the biggest hatch cover company in the world, and set up the hatch cover production line. It has been one of the most advanced hatch cover fabricators in the world in terms of types, difficulties, quality and after sales service. Now NCSC has the hatch cover production capacity of 23,000 tons annually.

After several years of development, NCSC has fabricated and delivered successfully all kinds of types hatch covers, more than 85,000 tons, about 160 sets for famous leading shipyards of the world, and has won global prestige. Meanwhile, based on its professional advantages, NCSC supplies technical consulting & service in the field of hatch covers and relevant products. It is expanding steadily and ready for the participation in the global competition.

Backed up with the gold coastal line, quay and its strong capability of steel structure fabrication, NCSC is developing in an amazing speed into heavy steel structure fabrication base. Our company attaches great importance not only to fabrication of hatch covers, but also to the fabrication of port machinery, heavy bridge steel structure, ship blocks and other steel structure product. Since 2002, we have developed the port machinery（bucket wheel stacker/reclaimer, ship unloader, etc.） as one of our main products.

At the end of 2002, our ISO9001:2000 quality management system got union certification of DNV and CSQA, two authoritative organizations.
